Ductwork and HVAC Upgrades in Niagara

Even a good furnace or air conditioner cannot heat or cool rooms it cannot reach. Ozone Climate evaluates and reworks ductwork in Niagara homes, balances airflow and recommends HVAC upgrades that make your existing system work the way it should.

In brief

Ductwork, airflow and upgrades

Ductwork decides how well your comfort system performs. Undersized, long or poorly balanced ducts leave rooms too hot or too cold no matter how new the equipment is. We evaluate your ductwork, correct airflow where that is the answer, and recommend upgrades in order of benefit. It is a core part of our climate balancing work.

What we do

Ductwork and upgrade services

Duct evaluation

We look at duct sizing, layout and condition to see how air actually moves through your home.

Airflow balancing

Adjusting and correcting airflow so each room receives what it needs.

Duct reworking

Changes to ductwork where it limits performance, including in older homes.

Smart thermostats

Honeywell and Ecobee thermostats for precise control that adapts to Niagara's seasonal swings.

HRV and ERV ventilation

Fresh air with heat recovery, to remove stale air and excess moisture.

Furnace and AC upgrades

System upgrades and replacements when equipment is at the end of its life.

When ducts are not the answer

Sometimes a mini split is the better fix

Some rooms are simply too far from the furnace, or the existing ducts cannot deliver enough air. Rather than rebuilding a whole duct system, a ductless mini split can give that room its own heating and cooling. Our assessment tells you which route makes sense, and we will recommend the smaller job when it does the same work.

FAQ

Ductwork and upgrade questions

What does an airflow assessment involve?

We evaluate your ductwork and measure how much air reaches each room, then compare it with what each room needs. That shows whether the fix is duct changes, balancing or a different kind of system.

Often, yes. When the ducts are the bottleneck, correcting airflow can help. Where the ducts cannot deliver enough, a ductless mini split for that room may be the better answer. See climate balancing.

Not always. We evaluate the existing ductwork as part of every installation and only recommend changes that improve performance.

That depends on the home. Common upgrades include smart thermostats, whole-home humidity control, HRV or ERV ventilation, and replacing an aging furnace or air conditioner. The assessment ranks them by benefit.

It depends on the scope and the layout of your home. Book an assessment and we will give you exact pricing.
